When you start StudyCards you always begin at the Decks page.   This is your collection of card groups you need to study:

You can Add, Delete and Edit existing decks from this page using the buttons at the top right of the screen:

• Add tap the + button
• Edit tap on the pencil button
• Delete tap the - button

When you Add or Edit a Deck you can enter or update on the Deck Detail Page:

On this page you can Add or Change the Deck Name,

Upload an Existing deck (as this example shows) or in the case of a New Deck you can Download a deck from our Free Online Library.   

To Edit or Add Cards just tap on the Card Listing  (formerly Card Details) button at the bottom

1.11 + Formatting:

Optional formatting commands to help make cards look the way you want them to.   There is no desktop application to preview the editing commands yet for now you will need to upload/download changes.

[h][/h]         : Header or Larger Font

[f][/f]           : Footer or Smaller Font

[c][/c]          : Centered

[n] or  [<<] : New Line

The bullet on a Mac is just Option-8 on my editor.

Note the [/h] [/c] and [/f] are needed to tell StudyCards to STOP formatting using the [h],[c] and [f].   Otherwise it has no way of knowing.   If you forget the slash - it will not look right.

TIP:

Sorting your Cards by Difficulty and Leitner settings -

Difficulty Settings affect the Order of the Cards

Leitner creates Groups of  cards based on the order set in the Difficulty.

If you just want a sorted list - leave Leitner Off, if you want a selection of cards based on difficulty then turn Leitner On.
